Jennie’s Circle presents grant to WNY Postpartum Connection

Members of Jennie’s Circle, a Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle focused on mental health, awarded a grant in the amount of $1,175 to the WNY Postpartum Connection (WNYPPC).

WNY Postpartum Connection is a volunteer run nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving access to care for families in WNY who face perinatal mental health concerns. Their website is a free directory of local mental health and support services for those who are pregnant or postpartum, or facing issues such as loss and fertility challenges. 

WNYPPC is also a place for providers and community businesses to connect with one another. The WNYPPC provider community includes over 125 independent practitioners, agencies, local support groups, supportive programs, and service providers in the community. WNYPPC provider network membership is free. They provide education to community groups and promote access to care and collaborate with providers and community agencies to improve access to perinatal mental health care.

The Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle is an all-volunteer community of philanthropic women who work to strengthen the community by combining their financial strength to support projects and initiatives that improve the lives of women and children.
