Charlotte Chapter presents grant to Strong Like AK

Members of the Charlotte Chapter of Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle, a community of philanthropic women who combine their financial strength to improve the lives of women and children in the Greater Charlotte, North Carolina area, awarded a check in the amount of $2,250—with additional funds that raised the total grant to $2,474—to Strong Like AK.

Strong Like AK was founded in honor of Adam Kincaid, a teen who passed in October 2020 after a battle with NUT Carcinoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. Strong Like AK exists to embrace families battling childhood cancer by giving comfort, offering financial care, and creating lasting memories.

The Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle is an all-volunteer community of philanthropic women who work to strengthen the community by combining their financial strength to support projects and initiatives that improve the lives of women and children.
