Buffalo Chapter presents grant to RAHAMA

Members of the Buffalo Chapter of Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle, a community of philanthropic women who combine their financial strength to improve the lives of women and children in Erie and Niagara counties in New York, donated $3,558 to RAHAMA.

Founded on Islamic principles, RAHAMA, or Resources And Help Against Marital Abuse, empowers women experiencing domestic abuse through education, advocacy, support, and housing. They also provide interpretative services, counseling, trauma-informed care, and relief to women and children in Western New York.

The Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle is an all-volunteer community of philanthropic women who work to strengthen the community by combining their financial strength to support projects and initiatives that improve the lives of women and children. To maximize the potential of philanthropy as a vehicle for social change, the Giving Circle makes grants on a quarterly basis and donates a full 100% of member contributes to grant recipients.
