Buffalo Chapter presents grant to Confident Girl Mentoring

Members of the Buffalo Chapter of Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle, a community of philanthropic women who combine their financial strength to improve the lives of women and children in Erie and Niagara counties in New York, donated $5,440 to Confident Girl Mentoring. The donation was the Giving Circle’s largest in its three year history.

Confident Girl Mentoring is an elite, evidence-based non-profit mentoring organization that is nationally recognized as a best practice for mentoring opportunities. The organization’s five-point mentoring system empowers girls ages 7-19 from marginalized communities to stretch themselves beyond their comfort zone to build their capacity to improve their self-esteem and confidence.

The Fifty Fabulous Women Giving Circle is an all-volunteer community of philanthropic women who work to strengthen the community by combining their financial strength to support projects and initiatives that improve the lives of women and children.
